Smunchy Peanut Butter Banana Loaf Cake ft Milkway Magic Stars

Ingredients:

  • 300g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 85g unsalted butter, softened
  • 150g Proper Nutty Smunchy peanut butter
  • 150g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g Milky Way Magic Stars
  • 30ml milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf tin or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar: In a separate large bowl, beat the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and bananas: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, until just combined.
  6. Fold in Magic Stars: Gently fold in the Milky Way Magic Stars.
  7. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool: Allow the loaf to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
